Workforce & People Planning

We have significant experience in workforce planning, workforce redesign, workforce modelling and workforce strategy development. For the last five years, our Senior Partner has worked with Health Education England and Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust to deliver the Workforce Repository & Planning Tool and other major national workforce planning development programmes. We are uniquely placed to be able to develop your teams to produce:

•STP, ICS, ICP and other system workforce strategies and plans

•Provider workforce plans

•Neighbourhood team workforce plans

•Detailed workforce models using WRaPT

Our approach includes:

•Training, development and coaching for your teams

•Implementation of workforce hubs or offices to support and embed workforce planning in your system or organisation

•Provision of generic workforce planning and modelling approaches or sourcing of support for your chosen model

  • New Hospital Programme Workforce Modelling

    We are directly supporting four trusts to develop their workforce models for their new hospitals. Working with our clients we have co-produced a workforce modelling tool (LORD). We are not only helping these four trusts undertake workforce planning and develop their strategies, but we have worked with the national team to train all ten trusts in this wave on our tool and approach.

  • Training & Development

    We have been delivering Masterclasses across the Suffolk & Norfolk region, helping leaders to understand the breadth of workforce planning and building approaches to meeting the challenges of the Future. We have also recently run a session for leaders across the Mental Health service in Manchester.

  • Supporting the Association of Health & Care Workforce Planning

    We have been supporting the development of the AHCWP by providing workforce planning models, training courses and material so that they can offer free tools and training to new workforce planning professionals.
